How bright is it?
The Z-Bar is about as bright as a 40–60 watt incandescent bulb. A single bright white LED puts out about 1.7 lumens of light, so 66 of them produce about 112 lumens. This 112 lumens is focused in a 50-degree viewing angle, compared to an incandescent which emits 500–800 lumens in a 360-degree viewing angle, thereby wasting much of the light backwards and sideways.

How adjustable is it?
This lamp is designed to be highly adjustable so you can direct the light wherever you need it. We put lots of effort into making a joint with a full range of motion and excellent possibility, without the need to adjust knobs or tighten screws.

Will the LEDs burn out?
LEDs don't suddenly burn out like regular light bulbs. Instead, they get dimmer over time. Our LEDs utilize technology that let them sustain at least 50% of light output after 15,000–30,000 operating hours. LED lifetime largely depends on operating environment so for best results, we recommend an ambient temperature of 77 degrees fahrenheit or lower.
