Membership Eligibility
There shall be two categories of membership:
(a)
Ordinary Membership; and
(b)
Term Membership
Ordinary Membership
- be of good
character;
- be employees of
the National University of Singapore and its
affiliate and constituent institutions; or
- be staff and
graduates of the National University of Singapore
and its affiliate and constituent institutions.
- S$10.35 fee which
includes the entrance fee of S$5.35 (inclusive of GST) and one share valued at S$5.00
- Withdrawal of
Membership will have to be made in person by
completing the withdrawal forms. The share value of
S$5.00 will be refunded to the member.
Term Membership
- be of good
character;
- be undergraduates
or graduate students of the National University of
Singapore and its affiliate and constituent
institutions;
- Membership is
valid only for terms of study. Entrance fee is not
refundable upon its expiry or in any circumstances;
- where applicable,
please inform NUS Co-op the extension of the study
period to ensure the validity of the membership;
S$5.35 for entrance fee (inclusive of GST). It is
non refundable upon its expiry or in any
circumstances;
- Term membership
can be converted to Ordinary membership upon
graduation;

The Application form is
available at all NUS Co-op outlets. Alternatively, you
may complete the electronic-form at this website and
hand it personally at any of the outlets with two recent
passport-sized photographs and the fees.
- What do I stand
to gain as a member?
Discounts when purchasing from Co-op stores:
• 5% for textbooks, general books, stationery and
certain personal computer accessories
• There are no further discounts for goods already
on special offer
Ordinary member also
receives an annual dividend.
Undergraduate Ordinary
and Term members are eligible to apply for Book
Assistance Scheme. Each award is S$300. Please look out
for the announcement which is usually from September.
The Annual General
Meeting is held once a year and all members are welcome
to attend. A buffet lunch is usually provided.
